Cherry Creek Door and Window Company began as a wood window and door manufacturing company in 1978. Our original products were developed to match and maintain the look and charm of older Seattle homes while updating the efficiency and function. We maintain our specialty focus on replacement windows for pre-1940 Seattle homes but have come a long way since Vashon and now offer a wide variety of products for homeowners and builders suited to various architectural styles. We are looking for an installer to join our field operations team. This person's primary responsibilities would be Removal and installation of wood windows and doors Maintaining a clean, safe workspace Working with a crew to complete projects on time Taking every precaution to protect our customers' property We intentionally keep the job description for this role short and sweet because day to day work varies, but the duties listed below you can always count on You can learn more about us on our website, If you're interested, we'd love to hear from you. Installer Location: Varies by Jobsite | Typically within Seattle/Bellevue Hours: Varies by Jobsite | Typically 7am - 4pm Overview: Our installers specialize in retrofitting wood, wood clad and fiberglass windows into pre 1940s homes. Our installations take place in finished homes and installers must be able to effectively work from both the interior and exterior of homes. Successful candidates are detail-oriented, and maintain clean and safe workspaces. Reports To: This position reports directly to the Install lead and Install coordinator Responsibilities: Removal of Wood, aluminum, fiberglass and vinyl windows and doors Installation of wood, wood clad and fiberglass windows, doors and trim in fully finished homes Maintains a clean, safe worksite, takes every precaution to protect the customer’s property Working with a crew to complete projects on time Maintains effective and up to date knowledge regarding product and installation practices Qualifications: Must have 2-3 years of experience installing windows and doors Must have experience working in finished homes Friendly, helpful, confident & engaging personality Clear customer service focus Must have a valid drivers license Travel Requirements: Local travel will be required. Most of our job sites are within the city of Seattle. But on a rare occasion there may be a site outside of our typical service area. Physical Requirements: Work in all weather conditions Lift a minimum of 50 lbs Ability to work in a dusty environment and on uneven terrain Ability to work in tight or high places (ie. scaffolding and off ladders) Ability to follow direction and perform work as designated Some knowledge regarding the proper use of basic carpentry tools (i.e. hammer, utility knife, measuring tape, drill, prybar) Reliable transportation US work authorization What We Offer: Competitive Pay Commensurate with Skills and Experience Cost Shared Medical and Dental and Vision & Basic Life coverage Paid Holidays Paid Time Off 401(k) retirement savings plan
