Construction Working Foreman We are a real estate development and general contracting firm in Los Angeles that specializes in entitlement and development of residential and mixed-use properties. Among several projects, our next project is a new construction, 60+ unit apartment in Los Angeles and we plan to break ground in the next few weeks. We are currently seeking a full-time Working Foreman to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will be reliable and have the skill to lead, demonstrate and perform work with all field personnel to successfully lead and complete daily tasks. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the day-to-day field operations and perform construction work with all crew members including sub-contractors Study and fully understand blueprints, specifications, job site conditions to plan effective procedures to effectively and timely complete assigned tasks Maintain construction schedule, identifies site issues and discuss with the superintendent and/or project manager Track and log all site activities on a daily basis and report to the superintendent or project manager Effectively interact with project manager, superintendent and subcontractors to find solutions to challenges Inspect work in progress to ensure quality control and construction conforms to project specifications and schedules Identify potential safety and operational deficiencies and ensure job sites are orderly and kept clean to facilitate a safe and productive work environment Ensure field operations comply with company policies and OSHA safe practices Demonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity Maintains a positive relationship with employees, suppliers, and subcontractors to build a trustworthy and long-term relationships Attend and actively participant in weekly meetings Perform any other job-related duties as assigned Position Requirements Must have at least 5 years of experience as a working foreman Must have experience in framing, drywall, taping and finish carpentry Basic skills and knowledge in plumbing and electrical are preferred Must be familiar with LADBS inspection Ability to work outside of regular business hours, including nights and weekends to meet subcontractors and project requirements Ability to independently and effectively solve problems Reliable car, valid driver’s license, and insurance is required to be able to travel on an as needed basis Exhibits punctuality, organization, and cost consciousness to successfully manage and complete projects Capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Benefits Competitive base salary Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Sick Days, Vacation, and Holidays Please email your resume, list of projects and pictures you worked on as a working foreman, along with your salary requirements [email protected].
