There are many puppy ads this time of year. However tempting it is for the holidays, please do not adopt puppies too young. The best weaning time is eight weeks of age. Those weaned early suffer from negative physical, social, and mental and emotional defects. Please do not take them home too early. Puppies need their mother in those early days! Happy Holidays!
