We are a wheelchair repair shop in Crofton MD, and are currently seeking a contractor to help with miscellaneous tasks around the shop, which we have just moved into, and once the shop is settled in this person will be needed to help with repair of wheelchairs and the building of new ones. Pay: $15/hr, paid via your preference of PayPal or check, every 5 days at least, sooner if needed Hours: As a contractor, you can choose when you want to work, but work will be offered on a day-to-day basis as needed. At the time of offering, it's up to you to accept or decline. Timing is flexible between 9am-6pm. Location: Crofton, MD - must have own transportation Examples of work tasks: - Assemble storage racks and other office furniture (we are moving in now) - Mechanical maintenance of mobility scooter devices - Assembly and disassembly of simple scooter devices - Lifting of heavy items (at least 50lb) may be necessary - Sanding/finishing/cleaning metal parts of devices This is a 1099 contractor position, which has the potential to turn into something more long term.
