Seeking a dedicated housekeeper/cook/caregiver for a long-term, live-in assignment in the Heights (77008). The selected candidate will be provided with free living accommodations: one large private bedroom and bathroom, including access to all common areas in the home, with utilities and wi-fi included, in exchange for the care of two separate households. The families are related and live one mile apart. Assignment One: A family of four (one infant, one toddler) needs help with deep house cleaning and healthy cooking. Must be experienced at both cleaning and cooking. This assignment is approximately 12 hours per week and pays $15/hour. Assignment Two: A wheelchair-bound, 76-year-old female needs help with personal affairs, cooking, and shopping. This assignment is in the home where the free private bedroom/bathroom is provided. This is an unpaid assignment -- the free room and board covers pay for help inside the home. The residents of both homes are related and are within walking distance from one another. Having your own transportation would be helpful but is NOT necessary. The home is centrally located near I-10 in the Heights. Work hours are flexible. You must be vaccinated.
