Construction Worker/Laborer We are a Concrete, Asphalt, Striping specialty company looking for the right individuals to join our team. Our business is New Commercial, Capital improvements and infrastructure Maintenance. Need to have a good working record and be dependable. This is a drug free company and drug test are mandatory. Here are our requirements when applying for a position at Roadway Striping Inc. Currently Valid Drivers License Ability to Pass a 5-Panel Drug Test Here are some the things to expect when you are newly hired: Variable Hours: 30-50 Hours a week Variable shifts: Days, Nights, Weekends. We work for customers around the clock. We expect our team members to have open availability and put in time-off request 10 days in advance. We typically have set schedules 12-48 hours in advance but beyond that it is prone to change. Some weeks are more consistent, but other weeks can get crazy. Hard Labor: Working all day in hot or cold conditions. Various task like scrubbing, shoveling, or using heavy equipment. Lifting 50-100 Lbs. on a regular basis. Working long shifts 12-16 hours. As you advance through the ranks in the company, many of these things become easier to deal with or become task that will be new team members burdens. We reward team members who endure with great attitudes. Job Description: Construction Worker/Laborer Responsibilities include working in the field on various construction projects. Shoveling, Sweeping, Lifting, Walking, Using Equipment and other various forms of manual labor involved. Striping and Layout of parking lots and roads. Starting wages depend on level of experience.
