Description
Hi neighbours! We are searching for homes for 4 lovely young cats, indoor-only. We would keep them, but our space is cramped and we already have two cats. We have socialised them and domesticated them, and they are ready for their forever homes. Information below: - Feral kitten litter, born mid-late April (around 6-7 months or so we think). We have been feeding them since they were 3-4 weeks of age, and have successfully & humanely trapped them and had them neutered/spayed. - 1 male (black), 3 females (2 black, 1 tabby) - Very friendly, but very shy. Will take a few weeks for any new owner(s) to get them to be trusting, given that they were born & grew up in the wild - All are litterbox trained - None of them can be picked up without them wiggling like little worms and jumping away fast (still feral in that sense; we think they will warm up in time, but want to make sure everyone knows they are not at lap cat status yet) - They all love twine, tiny soft mouse toys, paper shredding, and wrestling with each other, as well as running water, treats, head/neck scratches - They seem to get along fine with our cats; cannot say the same reversed. Then again, our cats are older and don't get along with any other pets. - We have baby pictures of them, so that's a plus - Before we realised we were gonna have to take care of them, we named them stupid names. Right now, the three black ones are called Chaos, Void and Nyx, and the tabby is names Marshmallow. MEDICAL INFO: - They were trapped in September and have been indoors-only since - At the clinic each cat was fixed, given a rabies vaccine, treated for fleas and given a de-worming and ear mite treatment as well. - Each cat also had their left eartip removed to indicate spay/neuter status, in case they escape - All cats received a microchip; these have NOT been registered yet, and will have to be set up online in order to connect your info to the cat(s)! IMPORTANT INFO: We are charging a $25 rehoming fee per cat. This is to slightly offset the cost of their food, surgeries and supplies we've had to buy over the months The four are bonded and are siblings, so adopting them as a group of 4 OR as pairs of 2 is highly preferred & encouraged, however, we know it's not always feasible. Anyone adopting all of them or as pairs will be contacted first and prioritised, but we also want to ensure that the animals will be okay. Texting or e-mail is highly preferred. I will most likely only respond after work hours (5:30pm)
