Duties Include: - Receiving and unloading incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers. - Manually loading and unloading freight in an efficient and safe manner. - Picking products in a warehouse environment in order to assemble customer orders - Staging and segregating product in designated areas - Communicating with fellow employees for safe transport of goods throughout the warehouse - Maintaining an expected work pace and meet minimum productivity guidelines - Inspecting shipments for damages or defects; recording discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel - Following established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards. - Reading and understanding assembly instructions to assist in assembling of various furniture - Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Schedule - Shift start: 8:00AM - Shift length: Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 30 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - Requirements - - Ability to operate powered pallet jack safely and efficiently. - - Ability to operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift - - Good written and verbal communication skills - - Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules - - Ability to identify and locate a product that requires reading and counting - - Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions - - Ability to work with minimum supervision - - Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen (cannabis included) - Must pass background check - Can lift 75 lbs About Ryder Ryder is the leader in fleet management solutions, as well as supply chain management and logistics for businesses of all sizes
