Making Christmas Gifts for kids

Kids ages 8+ get to create 2 to 3 gifts for family or friends in this fun clay class! No gift is greater than one from the heart! This class is for kids ages 8+ who want to make something unique for their family or friends. We will be making a spoon rest, an ornament or ring holder and a card holder for the table or all the Christmas cards that come in the mail. The first class the kids will make all the items they would like to give (the amount of gifts and what gifts they make will vary by the child and what they want to make.) The second class the now fired items are ready to be painted or glazed. If they choose to paint them, they can be brought home that night. If they prefer to glaze them, they will be ready within 3 days of the last class. Please have your child wear clothing that can get dirty as well as a water bottle or non sugary drink (in case of spills). I am a new artist at the Firehouse Art Center in Longmont Colorado. My focus has always been on clay in some shape or form but drawing, painting and mixed media are things I enjoy as well. Sharing whatever knowledge I have in a laidback, fun way is my style and I think it's reflected in my artwork as well. I hope to have you join me on my journey through life.
