All proceeds from this event benefit the many charitable organizations like the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League, The Nuxhall Character Education Fund, the Father Butler Education Foundation. Tickets Required ($45/person, Men 18+ only) Confirmed Speakers: Scott Williamson Scott R. Williamson (born February 17, 1976) is a former right-handed relief pitcher. He played for the Cincinnati Reds (1999–2003), Boston Red Sox (2003-2004), Chicago Cubs (2005–2006), San Diego Padres (2006), and the Baltimore Orioles (2007). After a lightning-fast start: going from college to the major leagues in two years, with just five appearances at the Triple-A level and winning National League Rookie of the Year honors, Williamson's tenure in the major leagues was cut short due to injuries. John Kiesewetter: John Kiesewetter joined Cincinnati Public Radio in 2015 after 40 years with the Cincinnati Enquirer as a reporter, suburban editor, regional editor, features editor and TV columnist. The Middletown, Ohio, native interned four summers at the Middletown Journal while studying journalism at Ohio University, where he was editor of The Post, the independent weekday student newspaper, his senior year (1975). John is a past board member of the Television Critics Association. He lives in Fairfield with his wife, Sue, a freelance reporter for the Enquirer.
