Beethoven’s turning 251 - Let’s Celebrate with 2 Chamber Music Concerts! Dear friends and music lovers- last December, we celebrated Beethoven’s 250th birthday with performances of his first and last string quartets …we had so much fun that soon I was thinking about 2021, LvB‘s 251st birthday! This year, I’ll be joined by four wonderful colleagues: Hal Grossman(violin), Rachel Swerdlow (viola), Walter Gray (cello) and Lisa Kristina (piano) in a program of great works for strings: Sonata No. 4 in A minor for piano & violin, opus 23 Duo for viola & cello “With Tso Eyeglasses Obligato”, WoO 132 String Quartet No. 10 in E-flat major, “The Harp”, opus 74 We will be performing this program twice: Sunday, December 12 at 2pm at Siela Gallery at the Lithuanian World Center (14911 East 127th Street, Lemont, IL) Monday, December 13 at 7pm at the Salon des Artistes at the Fine Arts Building(410 South Michigan Ave., Suite 535) Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students: available in advance via Eventbriite/Zelle/Venmo or cash only at each venue..
