Description

Hello, I am looking for a home for my dog. Before you flag this post, please read. I am not trying to sell my dog to make a profit. My dog is about 3-4 years old. She is a great dog who is very loving. However, she cannot be let off leash. She needs a fenced yard and a friend to play with. She knows basic commands sit, down, dead. She is a wonderful dog and I love her dearly however, she needs a fenced yard. When we got her we had no history with her. We have worked with her for over a year and have overcome many obstacles but the one thing that can’t be trained out is her desire to run. We do not have a fenced yard, and she has zero recall. This is the only reason we need to find her a new home. As much as we love her we at this time cannot give her what she needs. There is a rehoming fee - She is a beautiful dog and that can lead to wishful thinking that someone can “cure” her of her desire to run so this is to ENSURE the person understands that she will run away if given the opportunity, not to make money. We have worked with her on this for over a year and after all the time and training we have put in she will still RUN. We will be extremely picky to the home she goes to. Please be kind, if you truly care about the welfare of these animals don’t flag this post. She needs a home, NOT A SHELTER. She is a sweetheart and I can not put her in a shelter where they don’t really pay attention to where she goes. She NEEDS a home with a fenced yard and a friend to play with. I cannot stress this enough. Please do not contact me if you think this can be trained out of her because it can’t. This is who she is. We have accepted this and have come to sad conclusion that she needs more than what I can provide. Other than this she is the sweetest girl ever. She does jump however and gets overly excited so a home with young children is not recommended. She is full of energy and will need an active home. If you think she may be a good fit email me and we can discuss a meet and greet. Thank you.
