Rehoming a German shepherd Lab Mix, approximately 1 year old. Adopted her thinking we'd be a perfect fit but her personality demands a farm-like setting. PLEASE READ: This is NOT a dog for a person who is not home during the day. This is NOT a dog for an apartment. This is NOT a lap dog. ZOEY is HIGHLY intelligent, energetic and REQUIRES a duty on your property. Zoey would be the perfect dog for a FARM. She has never shown aggression with other animals. She has been around other dogs and cats and gets along well. She knows basic commands and learns quickly. ***She needs HOURS of outdoor exercise. **** She needs heavy knuckle bones and very heavy duty toys for play and chewing or you will find your house destroyed. I want to be 100% clear - this is NOT a dog for someone that wants a "cute" pet. This is a working breed, strong, large dog that requires an active family and large area to RUN and roam freely. She does NOT do well in a crate except for bedtime hours. She IS potty trained. She IS spayed. She IS chipped. Serious inquiries only. She will come with a crate for bedtime.
