The Kansas City Chapter of COMTO was officially formed in March of 1985 and established a mission to assist the membership in its professional development, to provide financial assistance through a scholarship to a deserving student, and to increase the visibility of the organization within the community.  The mission of COMTO is to ensure a level playing field and maximum participation in the transportation industry for minority individuals, businesses and communities of color through advocacy, information sharing, training, education and professional development. COMTO's vision is to see the diverse faces of America equally reflected in all levels of the transportation industry. In order to help this cause, we are offering a scholarship targeted towards youth who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
