Description

Join the UCA Makerspace team for Youth Maker Monday! Join Ms. Sharon and Anita for Youth Maker Monday! Microbits are pocket-sized computers that teach us how software and hardware work together. We will have a blast programming these to create some really cool features! Starting the Fall of 2021 we will have two youth maker Monday's a month. Both classes will be the same but for different ages. This class is FREE and designed to introduce young makers, ages 11-14, to the world of innovation!  Supplies and instructions are supplied by the Makerspace staff. For child safety, we ask that parents remain responsible for any child under the age of 14 during the duration of the class. Makerspace is powered by the University of Central Arkansas and the Conductor. The Conductor is a public-private partnership driving innovation, entrepreneurship and economic development in central Arkansas through world-class progamming, one-on-one mentoring, cross-campus collaboration and investor events. #FullSteamAR
