TAMPA, FL — A 13-year-old boy shot Tuesday near the Lee Davis Community Center at 22nd Street and 26th Avenue has died. Tampa police make the announcement Saturday afternoon. At 4:42 on Nov. 23, police dispatch received several calls from residents in the area reporting a shooting. When police arrived, they found the teen suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was in serious but stable condition. However, on Saturday the teen died. Detectives are seeking tips to discover what happened at the community center and who may have shot the teen.
