Hi! We have two horses that we are considering re-homing. Black quarter horse mare who is 19. She has some arthritis in her knees from being a barrel horse back in the day. She can be saddled up and ridden for light riding. We have had our kids on her and she has done great. Very food motivated, very mellow girl. Pinto 10 year old mare. She was purchased to be used for a kids riding program and did not fit what they were looking for. That’s when we picked her up. She can be saddled up fine and can be rode but she does not want to work and has attitude. She needs and experienced rider and she has more go than whoa. We love these horses but we are very inexperienced and feel we bit off more than we can chew and our horse arena need work to be able to work with them better. We are thinking there might be a better suited home for the two of them.
