found tuxedo colored kitten

So a tuxedo-colored kitten ran into my house in the Westend neighborhood of Lakeview. They adorably barged into my house and were very friendly and curious. I tried to put them outside a couple of times, and they meowed, begging to get back in the door, so we let them and have them stored away in my daughter's room with some blankets, a litter box, and some soft food so that they aren’t alone all night. I hated bringing her inside because I was scared I made a mistake and that this little guy was exploring, and if I did, I’m sorry. I've never been in this situation before. I have no intentions of keeping the cat because I already have two... I work nights on an ambulance, so my schedule is weird, so if I don't answer when you call, you can text me. I'm off of work until Wednesday night, but I maintain the same sleep schedule. I had a kitten their size/age that my mom let outside (she told us she’d be fine, but we were worried) at night in December around 40-50°F. I found her dead in the morning. I.attributed it to the temperature, but I'm no expert. A google search said that they sometimes couldn’t regulate their temperature before being full-grown, but you can find an article that says all kinds of things. Again if I made a mistake, I'm really sorry. I prefer texts, but a call would be okay any time of night, and I sleep from 8 am-2pmish, or you can get in touch here. I turned notifications on. If this post doesn't get the job done, I will try other means. They are also incredibly good at ducking a direct picture from my camera. I’m jealous. Leland Dupuy
