Enjoy a spectacular holiday light display every evening through January 10, 2022. Adorned with more than 10,000 lights and custom-made ornaments, the 50-foot tree is H-E-B's gift to the city. Travis Park is decorated with 250,000 lights across the park made possible by Centro San Antonio. The community is invited to attend events throughout the holidays at Travis Park, located at 301 E. Travis St. Travis Park Ice Rink Open through January 17, 2022 The "coolest place in town" returns to San Antonio! The Rotary Club of San Antonio and Centro San Antonio present the 2021 Holiday Outdoor Ice Rink located in Travis Park adjacent to the annual Christmas tree. Tickets are on sale now at www.rotaryicerink.com, and this season, guests can enjoy various theme nights with special discounts, including military and first responder free admission on Mondays, a cheap skate half-off admission on Tuesdays, and a group skate night for discounts on groups of 10 or more on Thursdays. H-E-B Christmas Tree Lighting Friday, Nov. 26, 3 p.m. – 9 p.m., tree lighting at 6:20 p.m., Free Kickoff the holiday season with the 37th Annual H-E-B Tree Lighting Celebration on Friday, Nov. 26. The celebration is free and open to the public and will feature activities such as holiday crafts, free giveaways, letters to Santa, and live musical entertainment as well as a special visit from Santa. Guests can also catch a screening of "The Grinch" (2018) after the tree lighting ceremony. VIA Metropolitan Transit is partnering with H-E-B once again to provide complimentary transportation to and/or from the H-E-B Tree Lighting. For more information, visit the Facebook event page.
