Blues/Soul project looking for a drummer who can swing

I'm a bass player looking for a drummer to start a band. If you are a drummer who is comfortable in the pocket playing both straight and shuffle beats, is easy to hang with, has some ideas and is willing to start a project, lets talk. The ultimate goal is to get a couple sets together and play out as much as the band wants (I love playing live). I also love collaborating and writing. Ultimately, I'd love to start something where we play mostly originals. But covers are great too. I have complete songs as well as quite a few 'song-starts' (bass lines with simple guitar melodies) that just need some collaboration. Im a James Jamerson/Duck Dunn inspired bass player. I have decades of experience playing blues, soul and rock live. I love living in the pocket and sticking with the groove. Im located in Burien/White Center/West Seattle area. I have a small place to rehearse with a small kit, mics and PA. For jams, we can use my set but it's nothing special.
