George Mason University's Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution presents a third annual conference bridging the gap between scholars and practitioners to develop effectiveness in peacebuilding. From structural violence in the United States to child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, we will discuss pathways to peace with some of the most experienced in our fields.
How is The Praxis Conference different?
The Praxis Conference aims to place scholars and practitioners on the same panels in order to both expand the utilization of shared knowledge and link scholars and practitioners for the sake of the growth of knowledge in both fields.
This year's theme is Sustainability in Peacebuilding: Trends and Challenges and we welcome presentations from all practitioner and academic fields.
