The Weekender at Paul Smith’s College is a fully supported family friendly road cycling event. There is no better setting for a family friendly cycling experience than Paul Smith's College. It's 14,000 acre lakeside campus is perfect hub for you to explore the beautiful Saranac Lake region by bicycle. But this event is so much more. It's a waterfront campfire with a guitar and friends. It's a few paddle strokes on a pristine pond while listening to the enchanting call of a loon. It's drinking in crisp forest smells while strolling a boardwalk along a nearby bog.  And best of all, the Weekender at Paul Smith's College is dedicated to supporting its Climate Fellowship Program. Proceeds from the Weekender will fund a team of faculty and students to pedal around the northeast to collect climate stories from other college students, environmental leaders, politicians, and locals. All the while, demonstrating and highlighting the power of human energy to build community-based resilience.
