40 something bass guitar player in a sprawling southwest suburb looking for a band or maybe even an acoustic thing. Broadly speaking I like to play Americana, 90's indie, 80's pop/new-wave, alt-country, singer-songwriter, 89.3FM, etc. Not interested in a paying bluegrass gig. I am not a flashy player but do understand groove, foundation and preparation. Really enjoy playing simpler stuff done right and tight. I have pro gear, little or loud--although not too loud please. Would love to find some experienced but laid back people that don't think they are going to be big stars someday.
