Company: Tactical Edge Transportation LLC Website: www.tact-edge.com Job Description: Looking to hire a CDL Class A driver. This is a full time W2 position. The position will primarily involve Over the Road trucking, with some Local loads as well. Based in Georgia. No driver loading/unloading. Pay is 25% of the gross load amount. You will be able to see the actual rate sheet/contract of every load. Though rates fluctuate by season, a percentage-based pay structure will ensure that as the company excels, so do you. We value your input and consider what you have to say as valid, and consider you a vital part of the team. Scope of Work Services: Over the Road Trucking, Local Trucking Load Type: Dry Van Freight. No driver loading/unloading Full loads, Partial loads Light-Medium loads (Primarily under 35,000 lbs.) Equipment: 2013 Freightliner Cascadia, 10-speed Manual Transmission. Lanes: Flexibility in lanes. However, you will primarily drive in the South and Midwest, with some Northern runs as well. We minimize time spent in high-traffic cities. Benefits: Compensation: 25% of gross load paid weekly ($1600-$2000/week) 1 week of paid vacation after 1 year of work (Paid average daily rate). Schedule: Work 5 days/week (2 days off weekly) Home every 2-3 weeks. Preference for drivers based in East Tennessee/Georgia. Average 2500-2900 miles weekly No driver loading/unloading Detention Pay: We will pay a set rate, if you are unable to be loaded in reasonable time frame due to shipper delays. Breakdowns: In the event of If the truck is down for an extended period of time, we will cover the cost of a hotel, and pay you an average daily rate. Fuel cards provided: We believe that while driving a company vehicle, you should not have to come out of pocket to pay for regular expenses necessary for doing business. Requirements: 2 years of CDL Class A Driving Experience (We will contact previous employers) Winter Driving experience preferred Driving record: Minimal incidents in the last 3-5 years. 1 moving violation would not be disqualifying.
