I’m a pro-level drummer with 30+ years of experience. I’ve been in Los Angeles for a year and moved from Austin, TX where I played in numerous bands. I’ve played hundreds of live shows, toured, and have extensive studio/session experience. I’m a very serious musician and have a full-time career (not related to music). As a drummer, I’d describe my playing as creative, dynamic, and articulate. I’m a gear snob and am extremely serious about my sound! As a musician, I’m reliable, dedicated, and enthusiastic. Additionally, I thrive in a collaborative and creative environment. I only believe there are two types of music: good and bad. However, in an effort to find the right fit, I’m into surf-rock, progressive, exotica, middle eastern, soundtrack, Bollywood, progressive rock, punk, and hard rock. My favorite bands and biggest influences are: Mr. Bungle, Secret Chiefs 3, NoMeansNo, Tortoise, Zappa, Rush, Black Sabbath, The Bad Plus, Jaga Jazzist, David Bowie, Devo, Man or Astroman?, Tikiyaki Orchestra, Butthole Surfers, Esquivel, Henry Mancini, Lalo Schifrin, John Barry, John Carpenter, John Zorn, and many others.
