1 year old tuxedo cat - needs a home!

this is Artie and we're trying to find him a permanent home! after a chip scan (no chip!) and initial bloodwork, we found out that Artie is FIV+. I'm hoping to find a permanent, cat experienced household for this little guy. unfortunately, my partner and I are not ready to welcome a new member to the family after our two older cats passed in the last few months, but we are more than happy to love on Artie until we find him a permanent home. Artie is approx 1 year old and asymptomatic in relation to his FIV status. he has all of his claws and is currently in tact (scheduled for a neuter 11/29!). he is a very chatty, sweet boy who warmed up to housecat life so quick that it gave me whiplash! he has full run of our 2 floor apartment, but wherever you are is where Artie wants to be! he uses his sweet chirps and meows to bellow his boundaries on pets and scratches. he loves head rubs, chin scratches and is warming up to stomach rubs (in moderation of course). he has not bitten anyone to my knowledge, and has been more of a grumpy meower to relay his dissatisfaction and less of the aggressive, bitey/scratchy type. Artie has taken surprisingly well to using the cat scratcher instead of our furniture (with a reminder here and there!). we don't know how Artie will do with other cats, so it is probably best for now for him to be an only cat. Artie would do best in a home without kids or dogs, as he is a good enforcer of his own boundaries. please reach out if you have questions!
