Description

The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception will provide meals for hundreds of poor, homeless, elderly, and the needy. The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception will provide meals for the poor, homeless, elderly, and needy individuals living in the District of Columbia and surrounding areas on Christmas Day. More than one thousand Christmas dinners are served each year in the National Shrine Cafeteria and another thousand are delivered to shut-ins.  Volunteers are needed to fill many different positions.   The descriptions and times are noted next to each of the job descriptions.  Thank you for your interest in helping and we look forward to welcoming you this Christmas.  DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, VOLUNTEER CAPACITY IS LIMITED. NO WALK IN VOLUNTEERS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON CHRISTMAS DAY.
