Let's start something epic, heavy, and danceable.

Description

Are you sick of all the 80's and 90's bands out there? Everyone is playing the same stuff, as usual, and I want to do something different. I'd like to play some of the heavy danceable music that is popular. Shinedown, Puddle of Mudd, Godsmack, Seether, Theory of a Deadman, Three Days Grace, Saving Abel, Breaking Benjamin, etc. I'd like the music to show the talent of the players instead of playing the typical mundane bar music. It will take more time to produce the show but it will be well worth it I think. I have all the gear needed (besides your instruments and amps) and a very nice, large, and secure jam space with beer on tap. It's on acreage so no complaints. QSC powered speakers, subs, and monitors. I use IEM and suggest everyone does but not required. X32 console and racks for main and monitors. I also have a nice setup of lights that I would like to utilize for this project which will require some effort to setup but it's minimal. I'm not looking to gig every weekend. I like other aspects of my life also and want to enjoy those too, like riding Harley's. I'm looking for lead and rhythm guitars, bass, and an insanely good vocalist. All who know their craft well. All ego free please because we are equal in this endeavor. There will be no dictators in this band. We all agree or we don't do it. If someone is really against a song, we don't play it. I've played too many songs on stage that I really disliked and I don't care to do that again. This is going to be a fun band that you will want to be a part of. I'm also looking for someone to run the lights and sound. I could automate the lights through midi and click tracks but prefer to leave that out of this band. I want that natural feel you should have in music and not the rigidity of a click. Me: I'm a 53 year old drummer who has plenty of energy to play this music. Been playing for as long as I can remember and should be able to handle any song within reason. Some "Tool" might be a bit much but not very danceable anyway. Hit me up, let's do this.
