You'll learn about preparation for labor, stages of labor, interventions including pain medication options, postpartum & newborn care This comprehensive, 2-weeks class helps couples prepare for the birth process and parenthood. Class topics include: pregnancy nutrition, exercises, anatomy, stages of labor, relaxation and comfort techniques, assisted deliveries, medication options, postpartum care & newborn care, breastfeeding, and a tour of the Family Birth Center. Please register by the beginning of your third trimester if your schedule permits. Our classes are limited in size and do fill up.
