Martine Ave. near Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., White Plains NY
Description
Masks required. I'll be in the coffee shop/bookstore area of the White Plains Library at 1:30 next Saturday, December 4. There are tables, chairs, places where you can draw/sketch, et al. You can bring art materials and do art if you can keep your space fairly neat -- it's a library, not an art studio. Might be a nice way to meet other artists. I don't know if anybody other than me will show up, which is okay by me. However, there seems to be some real interest, and maybe a few people will show up. White Plains Library is near the train station and the bus station, at 100 Martine Ave., White Plains 10601. Parking under the library at $1.25/hr. Saturday hours are 10-5. (For people seeing this ad in "artists" section, I started this as an invitation to meet 1:1 to make art together. Enough people showed interest that I thought it could turn into a kind of meetup. Covid time has been difficult for almost all of us. I'd stopped by the library yesterday and asked if I could draw there. They said yes - I think they'd like to see people return in more numbers.)
