need a real mechanic please

I have a 2000 Honda Accord LX 2.3l that isn't running more than likely because of an issue in the distributor but I'm not sure, I will pay for materials and if absolutely necessary tool rental and labor but I want it running right. Pay is after job is complete 30 an hour an I will keep in mind any travel accomodations or strenuous labor accomodations. I'm reasonable and I have money and I am not an idiot but I'm not an expert. That is why I want a trained mechanics help.
