You can feel it now, the days are getting shorter, the nites cooler. It won't be long before the trees begin to show their brilliance. Soon You can feel it now, the days are getting shorter, the nites cooler. It won't be long before the trees begin to show their brilliance. Soon we will shed our summer garments for the warmth of our winter wardrobe. But don't dispare, the winter solstice is approaching as well. Come celebrate the shortest day of the year with us, so we can welcome the longer days to come. It's a time when we can gather, honor those we have lost, let go of what needs to be discarded, and gather as a community. This year's annual solstice party will be held on Saturday, December 21st, at the DCC. Starting at 7pm this celebration will be a BYOB/potluck and a night of dancing, catching up with old friends, and making new. A donation to the club for ballroom rental is appreciated.
