SCAM using other people's legitimate pet adoption post but uses no photos Some guy copied my written post of a dog I had up for adoption here on Craigslist- WORD FOR WORD. changing only the contact me part of it and made his own Craigslist Posting for a WALKER HOUND in Woodside I repeatedly asked for photos - and he managed to copy and paste one of the photos from MY post and texted it to me. THEN he asked me for a deposit. So I pressed him for a meeting time and place where I could meet the dog. He said that a lot of folks were texting him and I had to put down a deposit if I wanted to meet the dog - MY OWN DOG He claims he is in NYC but the phone number he texted me from is a San Francisco Area Code 929 Nov 24 from a DIFFERENT Bay area phone number 408 AREA CODE, he sent me another 2 pictures - of my own dog - taken from my post (Which I deleted yesterday when I found this fraudster) He has been flagging my posts about him as a scammer - but Craigslist is keeping his fraudulent post up and running NEVER, NEVER, NEVER,NEVER give a deposit for ANYTHING on Craigslist.
