Description

In person CPR class for healthcare workers. This course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The mission of the Elk Grove Village Fire Department is to provide our residents with the highest level of fire and life safety protective services. The Department provides 24-hour fire, rescue, and paramedic services from three fire stations located strategically throughout the Village. The Department operates four Advanced Life Support (ALS) Mobile Intensive Care Ambulances, 2 ALS engines, 2 ALS Quints, and 1 ALS Squad staffed by State of Illinois Licensed Paramedics. Last year the Fire Department responded to over five thousand total incidents, of which, approximately 60% were emergency medical responses.
