Beautiful African gray Congo with large cage. She is very friendly and tame, will step up for anyone and has lots of sounds and words. She likes sitting with the family, interacting and seems to be a very laid back grey. I’ve only had her for a couple of days. I was told that she was seven years old. I was specifically looking for a mate for my six-year-old male. I just trimmed her nails today and looked at her band and saw that her hatch date was in 05, making her 17 rather than seven. Based on her age, I don’t think that she would be a good mate for my 6 yo male and eventual breeding, as she has been a pet only for much too long. I think she would be a perfect pet for someone that wants a very calm, friendly, chill bird to have fun with talking to, teaching new words, interacting and sitting with the family. It saddens me that she was not the age that I was told, because she is such a beautiful, friendly and healthy bird, but considering the large gap in age, I feel it best to rehome her before she gets too situated in another home. $3k
