Take a People's Gas Meter Lock Off NOW

Im on the north side. We just bought this house. No one said anything about a meter being locked off. I just moved my kids in here and People's Gas says they can't come to start service until 12-6. It's insane. If you know how to take this lock off with a tool, not a saw or grinder. I don't want to do anything dangerous I just want to effin lock off so we're not sitting here with no heat. I'll pay whatever the fee is. I just can't believe that's the soonest they can get here. Thanks.
