Create your own holiday wreath using fresh foliage and add a festive touch to your home with YWAM SF Join us for a series of experiences to cultivate community within the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco. Kayla Binnquist, florist and YWAM SF staff member, will be leading participants to craft your own seasonal wreath with fresh foliage and festive adornments. This session will include neighbors in the Tenderloin who will explore a career in the floral industry while participating in the festive spirit and having a relaxing Saturday morning in community. Schedule10:00 AM - Intro & Wreath Demonstration Kayla will give a basic overview of seasonal foliage, basic principles of wreath design focusing on form, color, texture, introduce the tools that participants will use to construct their wreaths, and share how to best care for the wreaths. 10:30 AM - Craft Your Own Seasonal Wreath Kayla will walk participants through each stage of the wreath making process. Participants can fully unleash their creativity with a selection of seasonal foliage and festive adornments to work with. We will culminate with a photo shoot. Tickets include a 16" wreath, a spray bottle, hot drinks, and snacks. We exist to see that every person in the Tenderloin has purpose, dignity, a life restored and a safe and loving community to belong to. 360 Foundry is a workforce training program that equips our unhoused neighbors with skills and opportunities to live with dignity and purpose. It is a part of Restoration Initiatives' 360 program, which is a discipleship-driven, trauma-informed, community-based program to restore power to the poor and the marginalized in the Tenderloin. Youth With a Mission San Francisco is a non-profit organization that seeks to engage the city of San Francisco with a loving God by reaching out to each sphere of society in unique, relevant, and creative ways. Through these doors, people of all walks of life are being equipped, empowered, and engaged. We host service teams, train young people for missions, and build community in the Tenderloin neighborhood.
