This is a hands-on learning workshop where we will cover exactly how to create studio quality portraits right at home!
This workshop will show you exactly what equipment you will need to create beautiful studio portraits in a home setting.
1. We'll look at the light needed for a studio image. This can be done with either natural light or a studio strobe. We'll discuss both options. Given the shooting space we have at the store, we will be working with a one-light strobe setup.
2. We'll create a couple of different looks using relatively inexpensive seamless paper as our backdrop.
3. We'll cover a wide range of topics related to portraiture including composition, posing, light positioning, camera settings, and a bit of post processing.
4. Everyone will be shooting! Bring your camera, we will have a model at the store so you can try everything yourself! You will have permission to use the photos in your portfolio, and you will receive a print of your favorite image from the shoot!
