NEW HAVEN — A Hamden resident is $18,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in New Haven earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On November 24, Daniel McGowan, of Hamden purchased a KENO ticket from Gerry's Shell Food Mart in New Haven and won $18,000.
