Murder Suspect On Camera: Crest Hill Homicide On Elizabeth Court

CREST HILL, IL — The Crest Hill Police Department is investigating a gunshot homicide that happened Saturday morning in the 1100 block of Elizabeth Court. The victim was a 29-year-old man. His name has not been released by police, yet. Crest Hill police were notified of the shooting around 1 a.m. The victim was found in the area of Elizabeth Court and Ingalls Avenue, police said. He was pronounced dead at St. Joe's hospital. "We believe this to be a targeted incident, and there is no immediate threat to the community," Crest Hill Police Chief Ed Clark announced. On Saturday night, Crest Hill police released two videos showing the unidentified murder suspect in the homicide investigation. The Crest Hill Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Investigations Division at 815-741-5111.
