2020 CTWG Winter Encampment Welcome to the 2020 CTWG Encampment!The encampment will be held at: Camp Nett in Niantic, CT from December 26-30, 2020. UPDATES: DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, PLEASE READ THE SEPTEMBER 20TH LETTER AND ALL UPDATES AS FOUND ON OUR ENCAMPMENT WEB PAGE (URL BELOW). A Civil Air Patrol Basic Cadet Leadership Encampment can be the most significant and worthwhile training experience of a CAP cadet’s membership. Training is what the encampment is all about. To achieve the overall goals, a positive attitude is essential. Each staff member has an obligation to learn as much as possible and to offer the highest quality of training to others. The staff must always remember that their first duty is to the members of the basic flight. If a cadet wishes to earn their General Billy Mitchell Achievement and become a cadet officer, attend certain NCSAs or serve at an encampment as a staff member, they must first attend and graduate from a basic encampment.
