CHARLOTTE, NC — A woman is dead after a red SUV struck them Thanksgiving night, killing them and leaving the scene. It happened around 10 p.m. near Sunset Road and Beatties Ford Road. According to CMPD, traffic cameras captured images of a red SUV they're seeking in conjunction with the crime. They also report the woman was in a crosswalk when the incident occurred.
