BEVERLY HILLS, CA — The Beverly Hills Police Department made five arrests in connection with three robberies this week and continue to investigate the flashy attempted "smash-and-grab" robberies in the city Sunday, according to the department.
Police arrested a 22-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man in connection to two robberies Monday around Elm Drive and Charleville Boulevard and Rexford Drive and Charleville Boulevard, according to a news release from the department.
Investigation into these robberies is still ongoing, police said.

Two Attempted Burglaries In Business District, Increased Security'Flash Mob' Robbers Attack Beverly Center Beverly Hills police arrested three additional people in connection with an armed robbery on Beverly Boulevard west of Doheny Drive on Tuesday: a 16-year-old, a 37-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man.
"At this time, we do not believe these robberies are connected to any other criminal activity in the City," police said in a news release.
None of these arrests are connected to Sunday's robberies at the Louis Vuitton and Saks Fifth Avenue stores in Beverly Hills. Police are still working to identify suspects for these incidents, police said.
