COBB COUNTY, GA — A family of three has expanded, and not by one, or even two, but four, according to a GoFundMe campaign. The babies were born at 28 weeks at Northside Hospital, reported WAGA-TV. The Colliers drive two cars when the whole family goes out since they don't have a vehicle that holds five car seats. Parents Justin and Madison had only planned on having two kids — and they are already parents to a 3-year-old daughter Isla — so when Justin found out about quadruplets, Madison said he had to lay down on the floor because he felt faint. The husband and wife learned in April that Madison was expecting quadruplets. As of Friday afternoon, a little over $10,000 of the $25,000 GoFundMe goal has been met. Justin's brother Jamie of Marietta started the campaign. He said money raised will go towards baby items, medical bills, a new car and lost wages from Madison being out of work. According to the GoFundMe Justin works as a marketing consultant while Madison works part time teaching a program called Read 180, which helps children improve their reading skills. "On April 16th Madison went to her first OB/GYN appointment for their newest bundle of joy," wrote Jamie. "Boy, did she have a surprise… As the OB was doing the ultrasound, the doctor found not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 (yes, you read that right) bundles of joy. "It turns out Madison was at the beginning of a really miraculous story. This news came as a complete shock since they were not using any IVF treatments, pills or even so much as a vitamin. So a little bit of shocking data here.. The odds of having natural quads is 1 in 700,000. To add to that, all babies have their own sac and placenta, which has the odds of 1 in 15 million!!!" Jamie said the couple's oldest child Isla has a condition called Juvenile Arthritis, which requires special shoes and expensive specialists. "Due to Isla's many doctor appointments and physical therapy sessions, it's hard for Madison to work full time," Jamie said. "So as you can imagine their tight budget just got a whole lot tighter. Any donation would be an amazing blessing to this family of now seven."
