My buddy and I have been the two main core members of a band called "Part" for the last 7 years. All the other members moved away and it's just us two now. We write our own material, we record our own material, and we edit and master it after the fact. I play electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, dulcimer, mandolin, ukulele, and keys. My friend plays electric guitar, acoustic, bass, drums, and keys. We come up with songs by jamming a lot. if you can't jam then this isn't for you. Our goal is to make some cool music with some cool people that are into cool shit. Think Captain Beefheart, Can, Les Rallizes Denudes, Phil Spector, Brian Wilson, Spacemen 3, Grateful Dead, Young Thug, Townes Van Zandt, Blaze Foley, Lee Hazlewood, Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, and Syd Barrett. Right now our goal is to just add another member to the group that can not only jam with us, but can write with us, but also just hang with us. I've always felt the music gets better when everyone likes being there with one another. Looking for: someone to do percussion for acoustic stuff as well as do drums for electric stuff someone to play bass someone to play keys or if someone can play percussion, bass, and keys, then great. we'd be a three piece and we'd all switch instruments when needed in a live context. Recently, we came out with a 12 hour long experimental concept album that is a compilation of our last 7 years of work together.
