MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL —For the first time since 1975, Mountain Brook is hosting a semifinal football game Friday night, as the Spartans take on top-ranked Clay-Chalkville to determine who plays in the 6A championship game. The undefeated Cougars have held the top spot in the 6A rankings for most of the season, and face a Mountain Brook team that has shut out opponents seven times this season.
