Description
I am a local audio engineer with over 20 years of experience tracking, mixing, and mastering music albums. I am offering my Mastering services at a reduced rate for first time customers.
This means I will process your final stereo mix to have more presence, clarity, depth, and excitement. I also take into account how your final mix will sound through the usual suspects such as Spotify, iTunes, etc.
My studio includes high-end gear such as API, Rupert Neve Designs, Dramastic, Tree Audio, RME converters, etc.
Here’s some mix prep advice prior to processing:
Do your best to leave an ample amount of headroom on your final mix. Avoid normalizing or adding a compressor or limiter to your mix just for the sake of loudness. For the audio nerds, that means an RMS anywhere from -20dB to -12dB depending on the source material. This is, of course, a rough guide. If you need guidance I can help you out.
If possible, work and mix down at 24 bit. Send files in whatever native sampling rate you worked on them at.
