Hello, we're Cymos, a three-piece progressive rock/metal band in Los Angeles. We're looking to add a dynamic vocalist, lyricist, and performer to our 45+ minutes of original written material. We want someone who can take our arrangements to the next level and send audiences home wondering what hit them. Our motif leans towards the cyclonic mysteries of the universe, but we’re open for whatever you think gives the people something to live for. On the professional front, we’re in our early 30s with full-time jobs (hey, good gear’s expensive). Our influences cover Black Sabbath, Mastodon, Rush, and Tool. We’re structured, collaborative, melodic, and even meditative. You’ll probably want an ear for odd-time signatures.
