”Toulouse” was found a few months ago running loose on the streets of a neighborhood. We came across his owner and they surrendered him to us because they couldn’t care for him properly. His owner said that they took him from a family friend who purchased him as a pet, but later decided he was too much responsibility and was going to sell him as a meat rabbit- so they took him to save him from that fate, but were not prepared to care for him, so they let him live in their backyard & he escaped. We cleaned him up, got him a health check & got him neutered. He is approximately 7-8 months old. He is very sweet and litter box trained. He does zoomies and binkys when he is excited. He will let you pet him and pick him up. I even pet him near his mouth and he doesn’t mind- i can even pull his lips back to check his teeth, he is a very good boy. He is only used to drinking from a water dish/bowl- he has never been introduced to drinking from a water bottle. He eats his hay and pellets well and has healthy poops. He is overall a healthy rabbit. He eats oxbow brand. He only free roams while supervised because he will nibble on things he shouldn’t & likes to squeeze into little spaces. But when he is not free roaming he likes a large pen to be able to jump around in. He is used to hearing dogs around/barking and TV- it does not bother him. He will come with his 1 gallon gravity water dish and large high sided litter box. He is CONFIRMED male & was neutered at Florida Aid To Animals in Melbourne where he also received his health check.
