Description
Sega is a 14 year old Siberian Husky searching for her forever home. She weighs about 50 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, and UTD on her DAPPv, bordetella, and rabies vaccines. I recently adopted her and I’ve had her for a couple of weeks, but my dog is not adjusting well to having her in the home.
She may be 14, but she sure doesn’t act like it! She loves to play with toys, go for jogs, and play fetch. She does have some arthritis, but she is on carprofen for it and she will be sent home with a 6 month supply. She also enjoys sleeping all day long. She loves going for car rides.
Sega has been in and out of the shelter since she was 2 years old. Most recently, her owner developed dementia and could no longer care for her. She can be picky about her dog friends, and she does guard her food from other dogs, so she’d do best as an only pet. She does not do well with cats or chickens, or other small animals of that nature. She has done well with children, but she is a bit fragile and the children need to know to be gentle.
Sega should not be trusted off leash, she likes to wander off. She will be sent home with 2 collars, 2 leashes, her dog food, and some Christmas toys I recently bought for her. She does great being left alone inside during the day, just make sure there’s no food out that she could get into. She is house trained, not sure about crate trained.
